Tony Tarrant graduated from the University of Aston in Birmingham with a first-class honours degree in Chemical Process Engineering in 1993. He worked for 14 years with CB&I, primarily on Oil & Gas and LNG projects in London and Houston, TX. In 2007 he joined Foster Wheeler, which is now part of Wood. Tony is currently Manager, Midstream & LNG, within the Specialist Engineering & Consulting group in Reading, UK. This group consists of 45 consultants and study managers that are specialised in supporting clients through the early phases of project development. Tony is responsible for all Feasibility and pre-FEED studies in the field of LNG, gas-to-liquids, waste-to-liquids and carbon capture. He has led studies benchmarking state-of-the-art and novel carbon capture technologies for the UK Government and advises energy sector companies seeking to reduce their carbon footprint. He is a Director of the Carbon Capture & Storage Association and a Fellow of the Institution of Chemical Engineers.
