General Director, CNPC International Turkmenistan
Chen Huailong graduated from Yangtze Petroleum University with a degree in Geology in 1995. In 2010 he achieved Master’s degree in mining on Safety engineering major from Chinese Petroleum University (Huadong). He started his work experience in 1995 as a Junior Engineer in Daqing’s Oil Field company. From 2001 to 2003 he was a leading economist at JSC “Aktobemunaygas” company. He joined the Turkmenistan branch of CNPC International Ltd. in 2003 as a Technical Director and Senior Engineer, and held many different leading positions for 9 years. In 2016 he was assigned as a General Director of CNPCI Watan Oil and Gas Afghanistan Ltd, in 2016 – as a Deputy General Director of the Turkmenistan branch of CNPC International Ltd. Since February, 2021 he is General Director of the Turkmenistan branch of CNPC International Ltd.
