Jeyhun Ovezov graduated from the Turkmen Polytechnic Institute in Ashgabat in 2006 with a degree in chemical engineering. In order to receive additional education, in 2012, he successfully mastered the specialty «drilling equipment driver» at the Vocational School No. 1 in Turkmenbashi, and in 2015, he took advanced training courses in commercial arbitration for office workers of the Academy of public service under the President of Turkmenistan in Ashgabat. From September 2004 to April 2006, he worked as an operator of the ELOU-at-2 process plant at the Turkmenbashi Complex of Oil Refineries (TCOR). From November 2007 to May 2009, he worked as an operator of the MSCC & GPU process plant at the TCOR. From May 2009 to July 2015, he worked as the head of the diesel fuel Hydrotreating plant (DHT) at the TCOR. From July 2015 to October 2019, he worked as the head of the shop for the production of high-octane components at TCOR. Since November 2019, he has been working as the Deputy General Director for production at TCOR.
