Sapbayev Dovrangeldi graduated from the Turkmen Polytechnic Institute in 2000 with a degree in "automation of production and technological processes" with the qualification of an automation engineer. From 2000-2019, he held various senior positions in the SC "Turkmengas", including deputy head of the main facility No. 2 for the Galkynysh gas field of the Marygazchykarysh Department, chief technologist of the gasoline production facility in Owadandepe. From 2019 to 2023, he worked as the director of the Akhal plant for the production of gasoline from gas. From July 2023 to the present, he has been the head of the state concern "Turkmenhimiya".
