Bekdurdy Amansaryev has extensive experience in various fields. His career began in 1976 as an editor of youth programs of the State Committee on Television and Radio Broadcasting, then he worked as a researcher at the Institute of Language and Literature at the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan. In 1986, he defended his candidate thesis. After that, Bekdurdy held various positions, including deputy director of a private enterprise, head of the Department of Science and Culture in the newspaper “Neutral Turkmenistan" and editor-in-chief of this newspaper. From 2009 to 2021, he was the chairman of the State Information Agency of Turkmenistan, and currently is the editor-in-chief of the ORIENT website and the general director of the MEDIA TURKMEN news agency. For his work, Bekdurdy was awarded 7 government orders and medals and became the winner of the national creative competition three times.
