Graduated from the Gubkin Moscow Institute of Petrochemical Industry in 1987. In 1987, he graduated from the Gubkin Moscow Institute of Petrochemical Industry, Department of Theoretical Basis of Oil and Gas Prospecting and Exploration, with a qualification of Mining Engineer. In 2008, he defended his PhD thesis in Geological Modelling at the Institute of Oil and Gas Problems of the Russian Academy of Sciences. He started his professional career at the Trust "Arktikmorneftegazrazvedka" in Murmansk. From 1987 to 1993 he worked in various technical positions on drilling platforms and drilling ships in the North Seas of Russia. In 1993 he was invited to Schlumberger as a well testing expert. From 1993 to 1996 he worked with Schlumberger all over the world, including Russia, Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan, North Sea (UK). Since 1997, he has been Schlumberger's Well Testing Manager for the former Soviet Union. From 1998 to 2001, he was Business Development Manager for the Schlumberger Oilfield Services Group in the former USSR. In 2001, he joined Mitro International Limited as Technical Director. From 2018 to 2021, he served as CEO of Mitro International and from 2022 to the present, he has served as Chief Technical Advisor to Mitro International. From 2018 to present, he is a member of the Management Committee for the Hazard Contract Territory.
