Elena Akoltseva is responsible for leading the region for the company, driving outcomes for customers and delivering business results, while ensuring topline growth through commercial intensity and excellence across CIS. Elena previously served as Chief Financial Officer Russia/CIS, responsible for the full scope of financial management as well as supporting regional strategy implementation and leading a number of projects including GE/BHGE integration and separation activities. She also provided operational management and control over Joint Ventures in the company’s O&G portfolio. Elena joined GE in 2006 as Finance Integration Project where she was responsible for providing strategic support to all GE businesses, streamlining business processes, building and leading the finance team, and driving the expansion of commercial finance and business development. Elena began her career at American Express in 1998, where she held several managing positions related to finance. Elena earned a degree in Cybernetics from the Moscow Engineering Physics Institute, and a degree in Financial Management from the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation. Throughout her career, Elena has completed industry-recognized certification programs in leading institutions, including IMA and Harvard Business School.
